Job Description

VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
An International organization is seeking applications for the below
mentioned position based in Karachi.
Senior Manager Laboratory and Surveillance
The Senior Manager Laboratory and Surveillance will provide technical and
managerial support to supervise development of public health laboratories,
strengthen laboratory workforce capacity, support implementation of
laboratory quality systems, and facilitate accreditation readiness of
supported laboratories under the IHSS-SD Activity. The position reports to
the Director Technical Programs.
Required qualifications and experience




Advanced degree (Masters and/or PhD) in Microbiology, Public
Health Laboratory Science, Veterinary Laboratory Science, or a
related field.
Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in public health and clinical
laboratory settings.
Experience in laboratory supervision, quality systems, and staff
capacity development.
Experience in supporting accreditation, or quality improvement
initiatives preferred.
Knowledge of public health laboratory functions, biosafety, and
quality management systems.
Familiarity with ISO standards, EQA, and laboratory reporting
systems.
Strong coordination, communication, and report-writing skills.
