The City School
DIRECTOR FINANCE
The Director Finance will lead financial and banking operations, investment management, and budgeting.
The role ensures strong financial governance, liquidity management, risk management & control, and optimal
use of resources to support the Group’s strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide strategic guidance on financial transactions, including loan syndication, M&A, capital raising and
investment planning.
• Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions to secure funding.
Assess working capital needs, prepare budgets, and ensure adequate banking limits by using Financing
Planning & Analysis (FP&A).
• Support annual strategy development with a focus on prudent, risk-adjusted growth.
• Oversee portfolio management and reporting for senior management.
• Conduct market research, financial analysis & financial modelling, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Compliance of SBP regulations.
• Lead the finance team in managing bank dealings and ensuring compliance.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Master’s degree in Finance or professional qualification (CA, CFA).
Senior-level experience in the banking sector.
• 12-15 years of experience, including 5+ years in leadership.
Strong professional networking with corporate and senior banking executives.
