EXPRESSION OF INTEREST
Scrap/Disposed Coolers for Sale
A renowned multinational company (the “Company”)is calling for bids for the sale of scrap/disposed coolers
at various locations across Pakistan on an “as is where is basis”.
Details of EOI:
1. This EOI is issued with the intent of securing fixed rates for scrap coolers over a period of one (1) year.
Bid Qualification & Prerequisites for Bidders:
2. A pay order of 25 million PKR must accompany the bid as security (details below). Bids submitted
without the required pay order, or with an amount less than the specified value, or in cheque form, will
not be accepted. Security will remain with the Company until the completion of the contract/project, after
which it will be released following contract termination or expiration. For unsuccessful bidders, the pay
order will be returned after the closure of the selection process
3. The bid price must include all applicable taxes and should be clearly stated in the bid.
4. Bidders must submit their rates on a per-cooler basis, regardless of the cooler’s location, type, size,
condition, or available spare parts.
5. In order to be selected, the Bidders must have a centralized warehouse where all the coolers can be
consolidated. The dismantling of coolers will be subject to inspection by Company representatives.
Bidders must cover all locations across Pakistan. Partial or area-specific bids will not be entertained.
Scope of Work:

7. The total estimated quantity of scrap coolers is approximately 25,000 units. The quantity may fluctuate
based on business requirements and shall not be subjected to any dispute by the bidder and/or the
selected supplier, as the case may be.

The coolers are located at various sites across Pakistan (approximately 475 locations including
Company and distributor warehouses).
Cooler lifting operations will be carried out in lots which may not cover all locations. The selected
supplier will have 15 days to complete the lifting for each lot, irrespective of the location.
10. The selected supplier must deposit the full amount in advance before beginning the lifting process. In
case of failure to do so, the amount will be deducted from the security bid.
11. The selected supplier will be fully responsible for lifting and transporting the coolers from all specified
locations.
12. The coolers will be physically de-shaped before lifting, in the presence of relevant Company
representatives. The selected supplier must not move coolers in an intact position.
13. The selected supplier shall be responsible for providing all necessary labor to lift and deface the coolers.
14. If the selected supplier fails to fulfill the scope of work as communicated to it in detail by the Company..
the bid security shall stand forfeited in favour of the Company.
15. Bidders and the selected supplier shall agree to maintain the confidentiality of all cooler location and
quantity information disclosed during the selection process as well as during the project. Unauthorized
disclosure will result in contract termination and possible legal action.
The pay order must be submitted to the following address before the closure of the event and must be
