Job Description (Key Responsibilities):
1. The incumbent shall be whole-time officer of the University.
2. He/She must be fully aware with the rules, regulations and statutes of the
University, as well as pertaining with the Government/Semi Government/
Autonomous Bodies.
3. He/She will be the custodian of the common seal, the academic and
administrative record of the University.
4. He/She will conduct the elections of statutory bodies/authorities and to
perform such other duties as may be prescribed/ assigned.
5. He/She may be familiar with the IT skills and Modern Administration Tools.
6. The candidate must be equipped with to conduct the meetings of statutory
bodies, to prepare the Agenda, working papers and to prepare/to minute the
meetings.
7. The candidate must maintain close liaison/coordination with Management to
resolve the various issues related with the maintenance of law & order and
other administrative issues within premises of University.
8. He/She shall deal with the litigations and legal affairs and to appear in the
Honorable Courts to defend the University matters, if called by the Honorable
Court.
9. The period of appointment shall be for three years.
Qualification: Postgraduate, preferably in 1st class or equivalent degree

Experience: 17 years teaching, administrative and/or examination experience in
a post equivalent to BPS-17 and above in a University/ Board/ Govt.
Department/Autonomous Organization:
Job Description (Key Responsibilities):

examinations and perform such other duties as may be prescribed.

examination record keeping and maintenance.
4. He/She shall be responsible for the announcement of the results on regular

5. He/She shall coordinate with the University Administration for holding the
Convocation in the befitting manner.
1. Qualification: Ph.D. or Master’s degree in a relevant discipline from a
recognized university.
2. Experience: At least 5 years in BPS-19, including 2 years in Quality
Enhancement/Quality Assurance at the university level.
3. Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and writing skills;
experience in quality assurance/quality management preferred.
4. Assessment: Shortlisted candidates may be required to deliver a
presentation on Quality Assurance in Higher Education.
1. Qualification: Ph.D. in a relevant field with a strong foundation in research
and innovation.
2. Experience: At least 10 years in BPS-17 and above.
3. Track Record: Demonstrated ability in securing research grants, leading
projects, and building industry-academia linkages.
4. Leadership: Proven skills in research promotion, innovation management,
and fostering collaborations.
TERMS & CONDITIONS:
1. The Faculty/Administrative positions will be hired preferably on contract basis OR the University will
make appointments with contributory pension scheme.
INSTRUCTIONS:
i. Applicants working in Government, Semi-Government, and Autonomous Bodies (Including SALU’s
Employees) must apply through proper channel and attach NOC, Service Certificate issued from their
controlling Authority/Head of Institution/Organization by the due date; otherwise their applications shall
be considered incomplete and liable to be rejected.
II. Candidates applying for the post of Professor and Associate Professor should submit four copies of their
CV along-with required Research Papers and other relevant documents showing details of work/teaching
experience/Research Publications HEC recognized and Academic Qualification, in triplicate, properly
bounded.
il. Candidates applying for more than one post should submit separate application form(s) along with
separate bank challan/pay order.
iv. The candidate having 45 years age shall be appointed in the University service by initial recruitment.
In-service candidates may apply through proper channel.
v. Candidates who applied under the earlier advertisement for Administrative positions shall not apply
again.
vi. The position of Director, ORIC is hereby re-advertised with partial clarification to the earlier
advertisement published in Daily Dawn, Daily Jang, and Daily Kawish on 01-10-2025.
vii. Short listing of the candidates shall be made in accordance with the procedure laid down by the
University.
vill. Only shortlisted candidates shall be called for test/interview and not eligible candidates will not be
informed.
