Minimum Graduation or equivalent from a local or international university/college
/institute recognized by the HEC of Pakistan
Candidates having Bachelor’s/Master’s degree (recognized by the HEC) in
Computer Science and / or Electrical Engineering and / or Software Engineering

Technology and/or Data Sciences and / or DAMA Certified Data Management.
Professional (CDMP) and / or ICCP Certified Data Governance and Stewardship

Strong ability to design and implement enterprise-wide data governance
programs, with proven experience in policy development, enforcement, and
monitoring frameworks
Understanding of regulatory requirements impacting data usage, privacy, and
governance, along with hands on expertise in data governance tools and
technologies e.g. (Informatica and / or Talend, etc.)
• Excellent communication and influencing skills to engage stakeholders while
driving cultural change and fostering a data stewardship mindset across the
organization
To define and execute the Bank’s data engineering strategy, ensuring alignment ||
with business objectives and digital
To develop and implement the enterprise-wide data governance strategy,
framework, policies, and standards
To ensure strict compliance with local and international regulatory requirements
(SBP, GDPR, ISO, etc.)
To establish and oversee data quality, stewardship, and accountability frameworks
across business units
To lead and coordinate data governance councils / committees to ensure cross-
functional alignment
To drive initiatives for metadata management, data lineage, cataloging, and Master
Data Management (MDM)
To collaborate with business, IT, compliance, and risk stakeholders to embed
governance principles
To evaluate, implement, and manage data governance tools and technologies
(Informatica, Talend, etc.)
To proactively identify and mitigate risks related data privacy, protection, and
governance controls
To define and monitor KPIs, metrics, and dashboards to measure governance

Candidates having proven track record of implementing Big Data solutions with

financial sector and/or in Telecom sector and/or consultancy industry will be
preferred
Understanding or familiarity with financial Core Banking systems and/or
integrated system, risk management, and customer data analytics; Strong
strategic thinking to drive innovation and digital transformation by identifying
patterns and derive actionable insights to support in banking through data-driven
decision-making
Proven ability to design and implement robust, scalable, and high-performance
data architectures systems
Proficiency in database systems (SQL, NOSQL etc.)
Expertise in building and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines for real-time and batch
processing of transactional and customer data
To define and execute the Bank’s data engineering strategy, ensuring alignment
with business objectives and digital transformation goals
• To drive the adoption of Big Data technologies to enhance data-driven decision-
making across the organization
To develop and manage data pipelines using modem ETL (Extract, Transform,
Load) frameworks and open source and off-the-shelf tools, like Informatica to
ensure high-quality data integration across various sources
To have ability to lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable
Big Data platforms and solutions (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Hadoop,
Spark, Kafka) to process and analyze large volumes of financial data
To oversee the migration of legacy systems to modem, Big Data architectures
To have extensive experience in database query optimization and performance.
