Gujranwala Electric Power Company (GEPCO), a leading public electric utility company, endeavoring to provide
uninterrupted electric supply to more than 5 million valued consumers. The GEPCO Board of Directors is looking for
professionals for the following C-level positions. The candidate shall be exceptional and dynamic professionals, with
demonstrated capacity and potential to lead a Public Sector Company in challenging environment. The candidate must
possess strong abilities of leadership, team building, change management and be proactive, fully conversant with the
corporate environment, result-oriented with known integrity and proven track-record of credibility.
RESPONSIBILITY AND SKILLS:-
The candidates shall report to the Chief Executive Officer / Board of Directors GEPCO.
The candidates must have the ability to nurture an environment of opportunity for optimum creativeness, sense of
responsibility, accomplishment and must demonstrate expertise to adopt National / International good practices required for
turning around the Company.
The candidate must have deep knowledge and required set of skills to deal with the economic, business, social, cultural,
legislative, political and regulatory environment in which the Company is required to operate.
The candidate must have understanding and skills to ensure community relationship essential for the utility’s growth.
The candidate must be well familiar with the industry environment possessing sharp business acumen / skills and the best
managerial practices related to National and International power utilities.

Required Qualification & Experience
Master Degree (in Management Science) preferably in Human
Resources or a related field from a local/foreign university recognized
by HEC.
Post Qualification relevant experience minimum of 15 years including
3 years of relevant experience at senior management level position /
HOD/BPS-20 in Companies/organizations having total headcounts
more than 1000 or having total assets of more than five billion rupees.
Certifications/courses in HR from institutions of high repute
(National/International) will be a strong plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preference will be given to the candidates having Power Sector
Experience.
16 years degree (Master’s preferred) in Information Systems,
Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field from HEC-
recognized local / foreign university.
Minimum post qualification relevant experience of 15 years which
includes at least 3 years’ experience at senior level position in a large
sized private or government sector organization / software houses
with sales/business and with a strong experience of conducting large
scale customer billing.
Broad knowledge of Information Systems including Software,
Languages, Frameworks. Techniques and Industry Trends
Experience in development of ERP systems especially for HR, Supply
Chain, Project Systems and Financial Management.
• Experience in leading complex, major changes and initiatives.
demonstrated skills in change management on an organizational and
inter-personal level; experience with integrating teams across multiple
business units and managing a geographically dispersed and diverse
workforce.
Demonstrated experience of development of or working on business
process reengineering, large scale data analytics and data
management.
• Experience in designing and effective information governance
framework across the spectrum of IT service delivery.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preference will be given to the candidates having Power Sector
Experience.
Master Degree (in Management Science) preferably in Supply Chain
Management from a local / foreign university recognized by HEC.
OR
Minimum 16 years degree in Electrical/Electronics engineering from
HEC recognized university along with certification in Supply Chain
Management from recognized institution.
Professional Certifications in Supply Chain Management from a
reputed institution (National International) will be given preference.
Post Qualification relevant experience minimum of 15 years including
3 years of relevant experience at senior management level position /
HOD/BPS-20 in Companies/organization having total assets of five
billion rupees or more.
Broad knowledge and experience of supply chain and procurement
practice in and related tools preferably in ERP inventory module
(MM).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preference will be given to the candidates having Power Sector
Experience.

1. GEPCO offers market-based, competitive salary package commensurate with the qualifications and experience of the
candidate, as per GEPCO policy.
2. The contract shall initially be awarded for a period of three (03) years, extendable on the basis of satisfactory performance
and organizational requirements.
OTHER CONDITIONS:-
1. The candidate must comply with the Fit and Proper Criteria as laid down under the Companies Act, 2017 and the
State-Owned Enterprises (Governance and Operations) Act, 2023.
2. The prospective candidate must be a Pakistani Citizen.
3. In case of any false / forged information provided in the application, GEPCO reserves the right to disqualify a candidate at
any stage, and the costs incurred will be recovered from the applicant.
4. GEPCO reserves the right to withhold/cancel the whole recruitment process at any stage without assigning any reason.
5. No age relaxation shall be allowed.
6. Applicant with foreign academic qualification must furnish HEC Equivalence certificate.
7. Candidate should apply only if the candidate fulfills the eligibility criteria.

1. Copies of degrees and testimonials, duly verified by the HEC or the relevant professional body/association, whichever is
applicable.
ii. Detailed CV, along with two (02) recent passport-size photographs (white background).
Attested copies of CNIC, Domicile and relevant experience certificates/documents.
iv. A declaration on non-judicial stamp paper (value Rs. 100 or above) duly attested by an Oath Commissioner affirming.
inter alia, that candidate is not ineligible for post of (name of post applied) in accordance with the provisions of the
relevant law, rules, regulations etc. including but not limited to the Companies Act, 2017 and State-Owned Enterprises
(Governance and Operations) Act, 2023.
3. Candidates already working in Government, Semi-Government, or Autonomous Public Organizations may also apply

4. The candidates who are serving in Government/Semi-Government Organization/Autonomous Body (if selected) may have
