ADMISSION NOTICE- MILITARY COLLEGE JHELUM, SARAI ALAMGIR
ADMISSION IN CLASS 1ST Year (LATERAL ENTRY-2026)
1. Online applications on limited vacancies are invited for admission in Military College
Jhelum (MCJ) in 1st Year (Pre-Engineering, Pre-Medical and ICS) on Open Merit as well as
on Self Finances. Written Test will be held on Sunday, 03 May 2026. Last date for
submission of application is Normal fee (Till 10 April 2026), Double Fee (Till 20 April
2026) & Triple fee (Till 25 Apr 2026).
2. How to Apply A candidate is require tootill the online Form after initia registration at
College Website (www.militarycollege.edu.pk). On submission of the completed online
application form, the candidates will download print Challan Form and deposit registration
fee as prescribed in the Challan Form in any Branch of Habib Bank Limited (HBL).
Candidates will download Roll No Slip after verification of deposited fee within 3 days.

4. Eligibility
a. Age Limit. 15 to 17 years as on 01 July 2026, however, waiver of 90 days will be
granted by the competent authority in upper and lower age (i.e ± 90 days) in all
categories as per existing rules for which candidate will have to apply.
b. Qualification. Matric Passed and those students who are appearn in Annual Matric
Exams 2026 can also apply.
C. Only Male candidates can apply.

5. Ineligibility
a.
Withdrawn from any Armed med Forces Federal / Provincial Govt’s Cadet
Colleges on Discipline / Character.
b. Submitting Tampered Certificates / Documents.
C. Overage / Under Age (other than prescribed age waiver).
d. Declared UNFIT by Medical Board.
e. Concealment of Info in Application Form
6. Selection Procedure
a. Entrance exam will be held on Sunday, 03 May 2026 Written Test (Objective /
Subjective) will be held in English, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry from
syllabus of 9th and 10th Classes (common topics of National Curriculum /
Federal Text Book Board & Punjab Text Book Board).
b. Admission will be granted only on Open, Merit and Self Finance, basing on Matric
Result, Written Test, Intelligence Test, Interview and Medical Examination.
c. Finally selected candidates will only be informed through College website.

Note: Incomplete without required amount of challan form and applications after due date,
will not be entertained. No excuse / complaint for being late will be entertained as Online
Admission System will be Disabled after due date. Examination Centre will not be changed
once selected. Furthermore, there is no Refund Policy for ‘Registration Fee’ in any case.
In case of any change in date of written test, it will be updated on the College Website. It is
pertinent to mention that Military College Jhelum run urder patronage of Pakistan
Army and does not have any collaboration with Cadet College Jhelum (Private
Institution). Candidates will be discouraged who are trained coached from the
Private Coaching Centres Academies For admission at MCJ. Use of Mobile Phone
and Smart Watch is strictly prohibited in written Examination, however Calculator is
allowed to use.
