TENDER NOTICE
1. Director Food, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa invites sealed tenders for the supply of approximately
4,000 Kg (Four Thousand Kg only) Ammonium Phosphate Tablets for protection of
Government wheat stocks lying in the various Provincial Reserve Centers of Khyber
Pakhtunkhwa. In this tender, Aluminum Phosphide tablet per kg rate will be given.

The supply shall be made as and when required by the Food Department, and the contract
shall remain valid up to 30th June, 2026 and may be extended for a maximum period of
thirty days after completion of its original tenure.
Those firms/dealers can participate who are registered with Federal/Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
Provincial Government under the provision of Agriculture Pesticides Ordinance 1971
(Amended up to 1992) and Agriculture Pesticides Rules, 1971.
Tenders will be received on 18-02-2026 upto 10:00 AM and will be opened on the same date
at 11:00 AM on E-PADS. Bidders are required to submit the original call deposit receipt (CDR)
to Food Department atleast thirty (30) minutes prior to the opening of the tender.
All tenders should be supported/attached with 5% earnest money out of the total value of the
offered quantity in shape of call deposit/Bank draft from any scheduled bank in favor of the
Director Food, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The earnest money will be refunded to the unsuccessful
bidders. On approval of rates the successful bidder shall have to execute agreement within 15
(Fifteen) days and deposit 10% security amount of the total value in the shape of CDR/Call
deposit from the bank of Khyber or any other scheduled Bank in the name of Director Food
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, which will be refunded on the completion of work.
The successful bidder shall have to execute agreement with in 15 (Fifteen) days, if the
successful bidder failed to execute agreement, earnest money will be forfeited in favor of
Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. All Government taxes i.e. Income tax, General Sales
tax, stamp duty etc. at the prescribed rates will be recovered from the supplier’s bill.
The supply of Ammonium phosphate tablets shall have to be arranged with in 15 (Fifteen)
days after the placement of demand with quality check form P. C.S.I.R Laboratory Peshawar
or Tarnab Farm or elsewhere (as desired by Food Department) at the cost of supplier.
The tablets shall be packed in Ammonium flask containing tablets in bottles. Each bottles should
have airtight, non-reactive plastic polythene and manufacture’s standard packing, shall also be
acceptable. The package shall be suitable to withstand transit hazards by rail and road. Each
package shall be marked according to provision contained in rules No. 14 of Agriculture Pesticide
Rules 1973. The prescribed tender should be according to already mentioned brand which is
registered with Agriculture Pesticides, Technical/Advisory Committee.
The competent authority may reject the tenders partially or fully on the basis of cogent
ground/reasons.
10. Any information if required may be obtained from Food Directorate, Haji Camp Adda, GT
Road, Peshawar City till one day before tendering.
