Karachi Metropolitan University (KMU), a public-sector university established under
Sindh Assembly Act No. LIV of 2023 is situated in Block M, North Nazimabad, at the
heart of Karachi’s Central District. KMU is a modern, entrepreneurial and technology –

Karachi Metropolitan University invites applications for the following positions on
contractual basis for three years (extendable):
TEACHING POSITIONS
Professor

NON-TEACHING POSITIONS
Director-Information Technology, Director-Planning and Development, Director-Office of
Research, Innovation & Commercialization (ORIC), Manager-Planning and Development
Instructions:
1. The eligibility criteria for all teaching positions shall be as prescribed by the Higher
Education Commission of Pakistan, whereas the eligibility criteria for non-teaching
positions is available at the following link: http://thekmu.edu.pk/current-jobs/
2 Please clearly mention the name of the post and specialty on the top-right corner of the
envelope.
3. Applicants already in government service should apply through proper channel with
No Objection Certificate (NOC).
4. Incomplete applications shall not be considered.
5. If the number of applications exceed expectations, a pre-screening test may be conducted.
6. The University reserves the right to cancel the advertised position(s) at any stage without
assigning any reason.
7. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interviews.
8. Age relaxation is subject to the approval of the Scrutiny Committee.
9. No TA/DA shall be admissible for appearing in the interview/test.
10. All documents and experience claims shall be verified. Submission of false or misleading
information will result in disqualification or termination.
