Job Description

Chief Corporate Affairs Officer (CCA)
The National Grid Company (NGC) of Pakistan is a key entity in the country’s power sector, responsible for
the efficient transmission of electricity from generation sources to distribution companies across the nation.
NGC operates and manages the national grid of high-voltage transmission lines and grid stations, with a
mandate to ensure reliable and secure power delivery across Pakistan.
Function:
The Chief Corporate Affairs Officer (CCA) shall lead NGC’s external stakeholder engagement, corporate
reputation management, ESG, strategic supply chain management, and internal operational compliance
through integrated corporate affairs leadership. The role ensures a cohesive and credible corporate
presence through effective government and stakeholder relations, strategic communications, ethical
procurement, and robust compliance oversight, supporting NGC’s mandate as a national transmission utility.
Required Qualification and Work Experience:
⚫The candidate must have Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Law, Business, Political
Science, International Relations or a related discipline.
• Master’s degree (MBA, MA in Communications/Public Policy) strongly preferred.
• Minimum 15 years or more post qualification experience in corporate affairs, public affairs, government
relations, strategic communications, or enterprise level reputation management with at least 5 years in
senior leadership role in large, complex, or highly regulated organizations.
Key Competencies Required:
• Strategic leadership and enterprise mindset, strong understanding of corporate governance, regulatory
environments, and public policy.
• Expertise in media relations, brand and reputation management, ability to align corporate affairs strategy
with business objectives and risk management.
High-level writing, briefing, and spokesperson capabilities, strong stakeholder engagement and
coalition-building skills, Contractor & supply chain risk management
Key Job Responsibilities:
• Lead government relations, policy monitoring, and stakeholder engagement.
•Manage corporate communications, media relations, and crisis response.
• Drive ESG initiatives and community engagement for transmission projects.
Establish and oversee centralized supply chain management.
• Ensure ethical procurement, compliance monitoring, and internal investigations.
• Safeguard and enhance Clients corporate reputation.
