The Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO), being a State-Owned Enterprise (SOE) is
operating a power distribution network and supplies electricity to more than 6.88 million
valued consumers in the approved geographic territory of Lahore, Okara, Kasur, Sheikhupura
and Nankana.
LESCO is offering qualified and experienced professionals with an opportunity to apply for
the position of “Chief Human Resource & Career Planning Officer”. This position
strategically leads and directs the Human Resource function at LESCO, contributes in the
development of HR business strategy, oversees implementation of HR strategy aligned with
current and long-term organizational goals and provides HR advisory and thought
leadership to LESCO on strategic organizational initiatives.
Job Description:
Analyze strategic HR requirements based on organizational vision, strategic goals and
direction from CEO and Board Committees;
Scrutinize Organization’s objectives and growth plans;
• Formulate HR strategy and framework for at least 3 years based on business requirements
and growth plans;
Present and discusses HR concept with CEO/ management;
• Outline roadmap and structural requirements for implementation of HR strategy:
• Define subsequent modifications in internal operating model of HR for efficient strategy
execution;
• Oversee HR executive manpower planning and training requirement analysis;
Conceptualize executive talent management process and succession planning framework;
Formulate key steps to operationalize strategic design;
Steer change and transition management process and enable successful achievement
of organization’s HR strategic objectives;
• Review HR frameworks, validates alignment with internal (business requirements) and
external (macro-economic dynamics) and accordingly updates strategy.
Qualification and Experience:
Master degree (in Management Sciences) preferably in Human Resources or a related
field from a local / foreign university recognized by HEC.
• Certifications/Courses in HR from institutions of high repute (national/international) will
be a strong plus.
• Minimum post qualification relevant experience of 15 years which includes at least
5 years’ experience at Senior Level position in a large size private or government sector
organization.
Remuneration & Contract Period:
Market-based competitive salary package commensurate with qualifications and
experience of candidate to be decided by BOD at the time of selection.
The initial contract shall be for a period of three (3) years, extendable on satisfactory
performance with annual performance evaluation to be conducted by the Board of
Directors, LESCO against agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) as detailed in the
contractual arrangement and revisited from time to time.
Age Limit: Up to 57 years at the time of closing date of advertisement.

a. Copy of detailed CV with updated career history,
b. Copy of CNIC and recent photograph;
c. Copies of Degrees / Testimonials duly verified by the Higher Education Commission
(HEC) or the professional body / association, whichever is relevant;
d. Applicant with foreign academic qualification is to fumish HEC Equivalence certificate;
e. Attested copy of registration/Membership with Professional Governing Body, if applicable;
f. Detailed separate list of experience along with experience letter/certificate.
g. Reference letter,
h. Declaration for their fitness / eligibility to act as CHR&CPO as per Fit & proper Criteria of
SOE Act, 2023 on Rs. 100/- non judicial stamp paper as per prescribed format given on
LESCO website;
i. Candidates working in Govt. / Semi Govt./Autonomous public organizations are required
to apply through proper channel along with NOC of their department issued on its letter
head.
NOTE:
a) Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview.

certificate at the time of interview.
